Since coming to Marianna in October 2005, we have seen God busy at work in the community and in the Marianna Church of God! Starting with just two, we have grown into an enthusiastic church family of all ages and walks of life who share a common vision of reaching the community for Christ. Every Christian has one or more ministry gifts to use for the advancement of God’s work, and in our church, all are empowered to use those gifts or are given opportunities to develop their gifts further.

      I am a teaching pastor whose mission as a shepherd is to lead, feed, nurture and protect God’s flock in Marianna. Many have walked in our doors for the first time and received instant confirmation that they were “home”. I can say with no reservation that our church family is genuinely inviting and accepting - all who walk through our doors are warmly greeted and cared for. Building relationships is a high priority for us.

--New and developing Christian training in foundational truths
